Supplemental Educational Services

Supplemental Educational Services (SES) are additional, free, academic instruction designed to increase the academic achievement of students in schools identified for improvement, corrective action or restructuring under the No Child Left Behind Act (NCLB). Students from low-income families attending Title I schools in their second year of school improvement (i.e., have not made Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) for three or more years), in corrective action, or in restructuring status are eligible to receive SES.

May News From Title 1

As the end of the year quickly approaches we would like to inform you of some upcoming events.

Spring Parent Conferences: Please look for a notice from your child's Title 1 teacher letting you know when they will be holding the end of year conferences. At this last conference we will review your child's progress and discuss some ways that you can work with your child at home to improve their reading and math skills. If you do not get a notice please contact your child's Title 1 teacher.
